Edge Microsegmentation Startup Byos Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Adding more than five decades of industry experience to the Byos leadership team, the hire demonstrates the company’s commitment to accelerating growth. The announcement comes less than three months after Byos launched its Byos Secure Endpoint Edge™: a plug-and-play, legacy-compatible secure gateway edge for critical infrastructure.

With more than 25 years of experience in the tech industry, Mr. Valiton’s expertise spans many market segments, including semiconductors, automotive, aerospace, IoT, security, industrial, and computing. Rob was SVP & General Manager at Atmel Corporation, a leading semiconductor manufacturer acquired by Microchip Technology in 2016 for $3.6 billion. Before that, he was the SVP of Worldwide Sales at Silicon Image where he was responsible for making HDMI the market standard it is today. He also served as Board Observer and Business Advisor for Byos for almost two years before this appointment.
